Can I get an online valuation of my car?Yes you sure can, at Phil Buys Cars we make it so easy by giving you the option to get a Phil's Instant Offer on your car. All you need to do is navigate to our Phil's Instant Offer page, lookup your car's registration number, answer a couple of questions about the ocndition of your car and submit to receive your Phil's Instant Offer. In most cases we will make an offer on your car instantly!

Can I sell my car to Phil Buys Cars even if I still owe money on it?Yes you can. All you need to do is provide a payout letter to us from your financier, Phil Buys Cars can then arrange payment to your financier and deduct this amount from the final purchase price paid to you.

How long is my Phil's Instant Offer valid for?Your offer is valid for up to 7 days or 200 kilometres, which ever occurs first.

What if my car's condition is different to the answers that I provided in my Phil's Instant Offer?Your offer is based on the appraisal condition of the car as answered in our Phil's Instant Offer or as recorded during the physical inspection, over the phone or video valuation of your car. Phil Buys Cars reserves the right to physically inspect any vehicle prior to sale and we will validate the condition of your vehicle on pick-up. Should the condition of your vehicle be different to what was stated in your Phil's Instant Offer we can adjust the price on the spot, if necessary.

Will Phil Buys Cars pick-up my car from me?Yes, Phil Buys Cars can arrange either a vehicle inspection or settlement appointment at your home, business or any other convenient location for you. We also offer on-site appointments at any of our partner sites located in Currimundi, Warana or Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast.

What happens during a vehicle inspection / settlement appointment?Firstly, we conduct a fast inspection on your car to confirm its in the same condition that was stated on your Phil's Instant Offer. We'll then have a discussion with you about your car and will collect any additional relevant documentation and authorisations to prepare your payment and the sale documents to transfer the title of the vehicle to Phil Buys Cars. Remember, when you book your inspection, it is obligation free. So should you decide to not sell your vehicle to us, that's no problem at all.

What documents will I need to bring to the vehicle inspection / settlement appointment?It's important that you please bring the following documents to your vehicle inspection or settlement appointment: - The ID / current drivers license for all parties listed on teh car registration certificate and finance title - The current registration papers for the vehicle - Finance payout letter (if applicable) - All sets of keys - Service book, owner's manuals and any other items that belong with the car such as headrests, rear privacy cover and audio accessories

When will I get paid?If the car is not under any finance and you have a clear title in hand you will be paid on the same day. However, if the car is financed, we can pay your financier directly and provide you with any excess funds. If you choose to pay your financier, we'll pay you the balance when we receive the clear title from your financier.

I am selling the car on behalf of someone else, who needs to sign the documents?Unfortunately only parties listed on the registration document and finance are authorised to sell the car and to sign off on any outstanding documents. If one of the parties is not available, a oerson representing them will require a POA (power or attorney) in order to be able to sign off on the documentation.
